My teachers at Newbridge were some of the finest, most caring people I’ve ever had the pleasure of knowing. Through both attending and interning there, I saw them analyze how a student learns best and cater their teaching style to suit that individual’s needs. It can be a transformative experience for kids who struggled in other schools. I learned helpful study strategies, but more importantly, I learned what it looks like to care about helping people and how to stay calm in frustrating situations. I have tremendous respect and admiration for all the teachers & administration at Newbridge and I’m forever grateful for the experience I had there.
Going from a big school to NewBridge was a nerve-racking experience at first. From the start, I felt like I was home. Their staff gave me the tools to be successful while making sure I had progression in my academics. Each student has very specific needs going into NewBridge. For me, the staff tailored their approach to ensure that when I went to high school, I would be successful. I can say that without NewBridge, I wouldn’t be in the position I am in today. I’m a business owner in the San Francisco Bay area. I thank NewBridge and their tailored development for getting me to this place in my life.
The six years I spent as a student at NewBridge School truly changed my life. I am so grateful for the relationships I have made with my teachers and everything I have learned from them. I know that everything I have accomplished in high school, and now in college, started with them. Newbridge is not just a school, but family to me, and I keep in touch with many of my former teachers to this day. I think that shows the kind of incredible and caring teachers working there, and why the school is so successful. I am proud to be a part of this wonderful school.
I came to NewBridge when I was in third grade. NewBridge taught me many skill sets, such as effectively using a planner, developing outlines, and time management. I excelled in high school from utilizing these strategies and in my senior year, I was one of the top ten in my graduating class. I now study at the University of San Francisco and my major is Kinesiology. I have interned as a wellness coach and have done very well in the working world by applying the time management strategies NewBridge has taught me. I am thankful to have gone to NewBridge School because these strategies will be useful not just as a student, but as a person as a whole.
